Scientists at Stanford University have recently published a paper and found that ultra-thin carbon can allow lithium metal as the anode, and the power increase is 10 times that of current graphite anodes. However, the current efficiency is only 96%, and it will take time to enter the consumer electronics market.

4. Flexible lithium battery

7. Magnesium battery

Magnesium ions can carry twice the energy of lithium ions, while having shorter charging time and stable performance.
