In addition, the color gamut of OLED is very wide, and the color cast will not appear even when viewed at a large angle. Due to the characteristics of OLED, it performs better in black scenes. The feature that black does not emit light reduces the power consumption of mobile phones. Now that the black mode is added to iOS13, the battery life of this phone has also been improved a lot.

But is there no disadvantage to OLED? Obviously not, OLED screen burn-in still exists. That is, if the same pattern is displayed for a long time, the pixels of the screen will age, and there will be pixel residues. This damage is irreversible! In other words, there will always be this aging pixel. For example, the Android status bar in the early years was particularly easy to burn, and the home bar of the iPhone X series was also easy to burn.

In summary, the current advantages of OLEDs are very obvious, at least in mobile phones.
